I came up with a much better tagline than that at 3am, but I forgot it. :(

This is my main image for World Autism Awareness day, and I tried to put a lot of effort into it. It wouldn't be fair to ask other people to do more work than me, would it?


Why did I want to do something for this day? I am a big fan of With the Light: Raising an Autistic Child, and I've met a few autistic people both online and off (though, oddly, I've met twice as many autistic girls as boys, and there are about 3-4 times as many autistic boys in the uk). Even though I'm not autistic myself, I feel quite strongly about it.

This image shows Hikaru putting stars on Nobuaki's shirt, right where they belong! It's because Nobuaki normally wears stars on his shirt, but not that day.

One last thing, the engrish was intentional ;).

woot I totally started reading Light: Raising an Autistic Child after my cousin who is autistic was born. I wanted to understand what it was. I love this drawing!

I didn't know this manga since I saw this picture, but I think I'll read it as soon as I can find it, now! It's a very tender picture, and it's done for an important occasion too. I like this, you did a nice job! :)
