Like cats and dogs, IntroYes indeed, life is overall quite grand here in the mamano woods, but we're not without our problems too. For some reason, I seem to be the go-to girl for such matters. I'm not sure why. I'm just a humble inari who happens to be gifted with vast wisdom of magical powers...okay perhaps I just answered my own question. Whatever the case, I found myself having to calm down a rather agitated mob of mamano one morning...

I have no idea how this image is only a few kb.

(People who know about El Goonish Shive can skip this paragraph).
This features Brownie, a narcoleptic cat, and a fairy doll, which is something a girl called Nanase can create and possess at any time after creating it. She uses this one to talk to a person called Ellen, though I thought it would be cute if Brownie used the fairy doll as... well... a doll when Ellen is expecting Nanase to possess it.

It's a fun webcomic.

Inspired by a disscussion on the EGS forums, where people speculated that a squirell and a fairy doll would share a pillow (it makes sense if you read the story).

I lurk there...

Originally, this took place in a random hallway in the Dunkell household, but after scanning it in I pretty much erased the whole background (apart from that badly drawn speech bubble

) and drew that bedroom.

I did kinda want to draw the scene just after Nanase possessed the doll, but... I'd have wanted to draw her sleepy looking and she doesn't look sleepy when possesing or creating fairy dolls.

And yes, her tail IS in this image.

Well, I don't think so, seeing how Brownie reacted to Ellen turning into a cat and speaking. And Brownie has 'talked' to fairy Nanase before.
