AFC 15, Gundam Wing

Part 15 of the AFC.

Gundam Wing is part 15 because the main characters are 15, and I think that the show is fifteen years old this year. Also, I really wanted it to be after the Escaflowne image. Why? Well, when I was young I thought there was a connection between the two. After all, they were two mecha series (and I found out later they were both made by the same studio and approximatly at the same time).

It features Heero looking at something that I didn't intend to be really noticible, but I really wanted to experiment with higlights here so... I made it glowy when I edited it. Still no need to notice it, but it is really glowy. Really glowy.
I like shading stuff at nightime. Makes me wonder how I will do in the next image, which does have a lot of light in it.
I also had a bit of fun with the stars and city. There's also a fence, but you can't really see it.

I have no idea why, but shrinking the image completly changed his expression. Or maybe the shading did and I just didn't notice. Ah well, his old expression wasn't too important.

I watched all of Gundam Wing a while back on Crunchyroll. It was supposed to expire at the end of the month, so I hurried, watching it even on days where I really didn't feel like watching it, because who knows when I'd finally get a chance to watch it again, and then... they decided to keep it on indefinatly.

Oh, and I also really like Heero's shirt. Wonder if the person who designed his shirt had anything to do with Van's shirt. Though, if that person did, it probably means that the characters were desinged by the same person...

Edit: Oh wow... on another computer it looks like he's being swallowed by a black void of some sort, and no fiddling with the settings changes that. o.0
