My main computer is dead and it took hours upon hours of work with it.
Really annoyed and will be inactive. Sorry.

Got my computer mostly working again! Yay! Though I don't know how long she can last, so I still plan to be less active.

It was my anti-virus that did it.

In Program Files.

With a file that loads on startup.

It was probably a download that was corrupted by my connection, not the first time that happened. The file would try to load but it couldn't, so when I started my computer it would just be stuck in this loop of "Trying to load, won't load, trying to load" and it couldn't get past loading my desktop.

I couldn't uninstall it normally, I couldn't do anything outside of safe mode.

So I just dug in the guts of my computer and manually deleted all the files.

And even with the program that stopped my computer from working gone, things are still unstable. My computer thinks I still have my anti-virus and the music player stopped working. I get error messages every so often.

This is the second time a popular anti-virus with a good reputation broke my computer this year. As in 2013.
